The Alumnus of the Year 2019 award is being presented to researcher, author, popular educator and science writer Emma Frans for her “tireless work to increase the resistance to misleading facts and fake news”.The award will be presented on 3 March 2020 in conjunction with a lecture by Emma Frans at the University Main building in Uppsala.

Demand response electricity consumers as a flexibility resource
The lecture is an obligatory teaching test for those applying for admittance as docent and it should be possible for students and others with basic academic education in the relevant field to follow it.
