Welcome to this seminar with Ulf Jakobsson from the Swedish National Data Service on how to write and make use of Data Management Plan in your research.

The aim of a Data Management Plan (DMP) is to plan the life cycle of data in a research project. It is a tool that by outlining how data will be generated, collected, documented, shared and preserved supports the researcher in effective data handling.

A number of research funding bodies already have recommendations and, in some cases (Swedish Research Council, Formas, Horizon2020 and ERC) also requirements, for DMPs.

Welcome to this seminar with Ulf Jakobsson from the Swedish National Data Service on how to write  and make use of Data Management Plan in your research.

The seminar is held in English and is given on two occasions, Monday October 7th at Hambergsalen, Geo-centrum and Tuesday October 8th at room B115, Ekonomikum.
