The transition to a sustainable energy system is one of the great challenges of our time. Within Uppsala University, energy research has long been a prioritised area, with strong research environments in areas such as energy conversion, storage, and fuels. During this day, you will learn more about international and national cutting-edge research conducted at the university as well as companies.

This day is part of the multidisciplinary theme week arranged by the faculty of science and technology between 16 – 20 May at Ångström Laboratory. This week aims to present current research within AI/Data-driven life science, the Universe and Mathematical Physics, Material, Energy and Climate change.

During these days, you will meet leading international, national, and local researchers within basic- and applied research. You will also have the opportunity to take part and participate in in-depth discussions about research and societal issues from a scientific perspective. Lectures and presentations will be given in English.
