Mindfulness in the Botanical Garden

A moment of mindfulness gives your brain and body a break from the noise of everyday life. Mindfulness can help you reduce stress, anxiety and depression, manage thoughts and emotions, increase your focus and improve your memory.

Welcome to our guided mindfulness. We meet on Tuesdays, by the fountain in the Botanical Garden in Uppsala. 

Join all occasions or just a few, no previous experience is required. We start the event with brief information about mindfulness, followed by a guided mindfulness exercise for about 25 minutes. Afterwards, there is time for reflection or questions.

As a student at Uppsala University, SLU (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences) in Uppsala, and Johannelund School of Theology, you have access to all student groups and other events hosted by the Student Health Service.
