This workshop is for those who wish to learn more about using text data and text mining in research or studies.

During this workshop, we will look into digital methods and tools for text data and text mining. Your learning objectives for this course is to:

Understand important differences between quantitative and qualitative text analysis.

Find freely available text data and upload it to Voyant.

Use a few basic functions in Voyant.

Know of some other tools for text mining.

Know where you can find more help or guidance after the workhop.

No previous experience is required to attend this workshop.
